It's been a long time since we had such a delicious meal in a restaurant. The couple who run this restaurant radiate the wealth of catering experience in every pore. As a chef in the kitchen and as a hostess in the restaurant. What a relief this is. Unfortunately, they are retiring at the end of this year and will be calling it quits after more than 40 years. So if you really want to enjoy everything the Oosterschelde has to offer again, such as the Oosterschelde lobster, the saltwater eel and many other traditional Zeeland dishes, you have to be quick.

Very nice place with a view of the water. More limited menu, but with correctly prepared dishes as I expect in a good brasserie. We had the mussels from the suggestion menu and the daughter had the soles. Everything arrived correctly within time by friendly and competent staff. The food was very tasty. The wines are tasty and price/quality. The sight of the desserts at the neighbors made us want more and so we gave in to another delicious dessert. There will definitely be a next time, but I would still like to pass by the window...

We just had a lovely meal in a beautiful location. Compliments to the floor and kitchen team. We chose the ‘surprise’ menu at 42.50pp and were not disappointed. Lovely balance of flavours and ingredients and excellent value. Thank you

What a wonderful place to enjoy. Here you will be absolutely spoiled with delicious food and drinks, as well as excellent service. The menu is small but with an exquisite selection. Regardless of whether it is fish or meat, vegetarian or even desert, we unreservedly recommend it. With a very beautiful view of the sea, dining is an experience. The price is perfectly reasonable and the drinks are very cheap for the standard. Absolute insider tip.
